Salt River Kayaking
Bob, Cheryl and I kayaked down the Salt River today. We had booked the earliest time we could in hopes of seeing wild horses in the river, but no such luck!

Sedona and Boynton Canyon Trail
Did a quick day trip to Sedona since Donna didn't have to work today! We decided to try doing part of the Bonyton Canyon Trail. It was a flat, easy trail, at least as far as we went! I read that the last 1/2 mile was definitely uphill, but the view it gets you to is amazing!

Bearizona
We did a fun day-trip to Williams today to go through Bearizona. Donna had never been there and it has been a long time since I've had a chance to go!

Mt. Lemmon
Since the weather is so stifling hot here right now, Donna and I decided to do a day trip to Mt. Lemmon as the temperatures are about 30-degrees cooler there!

We went to explore the Salt River today, mainly as a way to try to distract me from the fact that I'm having hip replacement tomorrow! Yikes!

The Sonoran Desert Museum is a fusion of zoo, botanical garden, art gllery, natural history museum, and aquarium! The gardens showcase the Sonoran Desert's ecosystem, home to over 2,000 species of plants and is known as the most lush desert on earth.
