Lower California Coast – 9/29 to 10/4/2024
We left the house about 7:15 am. The drive to Long Beach didn't seem too bad! We went right to Rosie's Dog beach.

I decided to do a quick overnight trip to the Grand Canyon to see how Luna would do in a hotel!

Got to Bob and Cheryl's about 7:00 pm last night...

Rocky Point, Mexico
Donna and I left Phoenix about 9:00 a.m. arriving in Rocky Point about 12:30-ish. It was an easy drive. We went in through the Lukeville border crossing. We're staying at Las Palmas in Grande-701 which we booked through VRBO. We have a great view of the ocean!

Arches National Park
I got to Arches National Park about 6:20 a.m. The desk clerk said it would be full by 8:30 and closed again and I really wanted to see it before I left Moab!

Canyonlands National Park
I left Steamboat Springs about 6:45 a.m. The moon is full in the sky and frost covers all of the pastures.

Enstroms Toffee
I knew when I found out I would be going right by Grand Junction I had to stop at the Enstroms Toffee Headquarters to see this magical process in the making! This has been by favorite toffee FOREVER and seeing the process didn't disappoint!
