Trans-Syberian Orchestra

This is our third year seeing TSO.  We went in 2018 (Performing The Ghosts of Christmas Eve), 2019 (Performing Christmas Eve and Other Stories which was also their first live tour in 1999), and 2021 (Performing Christmas Eve and Other Stories), with 2020 being cancelled due to Covid!

Christmas Eve and Other Stories is set on Christmas Eve when a young angel is sent to Earth to bring back what is best representative of humanity.  It takes the viewers all over the world to help reunite a young girl with her distraught father.

This was their 25th year performing.  They’re considered an American Rock band (more of a Progressive Rock Opera) that was founded in 1996 by Paul O’Neill.  O’Neill died in 2017 at an Embassy Suites in Florida from drug abuse.

The band began touring in 1999 and show are know for their elaborate concerts, which include a string section, a light show, lasers, moving trusses, video screens, and effects synchronized to music.

TSO is one of rocks most charitable bands.  In every city they donate one dollar from every ticket sold to a local charity, with an emphasis on children’s charities.  To date, approximately $16 million has been donated by the group.
