After all these years of living in Arizona I’ve never been to Boyce Thompson Arboretum! I kept seeing photos from the influencers on Instagram of the gorgeous fall colors! I was planning on going on Thanksgiving Day, but then saw a post of Facebook saying that the Thanksgiving weekend was the absolute PEAK of color! I didn’t want to fight the crowds that were off work for the holiday weekend, so decided to just pick up a go yesterday morning! (Didn’t even see it on Facebook until 9:30 a.m.). We got there about noon and it was a totally overcast day, so perfect for photos!
And there were Coatis!! Little “Groots”!! I was watching them and taking photos when all of a sudden about 5 of them all started coming after Luna! The Ranger (who I didn’t even know was around) was shouting to “pick up your dog”! Yikes! I guess I kinbd of used her as a bait dog after I picked her up as I kept taking photos and videos with her in my arms!! Sorry, Luna!!
